Is This You?
Who Must File by April 15 ?
April 15 is the federal deadline for individuals and single-member LLCs. Check which applies to you.
Your LLC is treated as a "disregarded entity" by the IRS. You report all business income on your personal tax return — due April 15.
Form 1040 + Schedule CSelf-employed without a formal LLC? Your income is reported on Schedule C attached to your Form 1040. Same April 15 deadline.
Form 1040 + Schedule CFormed a US LLC from outside the US? You still have US federal filing obligations. Bizfyle specializes in non-resident filings and ITIN applications.

What You Actually Need to File ?
The IRS requires specific forms based on your situation. Here's a quick breakdown of what each form covers.
The primary federal return for US residents and citizens. All your income — business, wages, investments — gets reported here.
- Total personal income & deductions
- Self-employment tax calculation
- Tax credits you qualify for
- Final tax owed or refund due
Attached to your Form 1040, Schedule C is where your LLC's income and all deductible business expenses are reported.
- Gross revenue from your LLC
- Business expenses (office, travel, software)
- Net profit or loss from business
- Home office & vehicle deductions
LLC owners pay 15.3% self-employment tax covering Social Security and Medicare — equivalent to what employers withhold for employees.
- 15.3% on net self-employment income
- Social Security portion (12.4%)
- Medicare portion (2.9%)
- 50% SE deduction on your 1040
If you're a non-US resident operating a US LLC, you file a 1040-NR instead of the standard 1040 to report US-sourced income.
- US-sourced business income reporting
- Business deductions & expenses
- Filed with ITIN (not SSN)
No SSN? You need an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) to file US taxes. Form W-7 must be submitted with your 1040-NR as a single package.
- Replaces SSN for tax filing purposes
- Submitted alongside your 1040-NR
- Requires supporting identity documents
- Processing takes 7–11 weeks
Need more time? Filing Form 4868 gives you an automatic 6-month extension to submit your return. But taxes owed are still due April 15.
- Extends filing deadline to Oct 15
- Does NOT extend payment deadline
- Must be filed by April 15
- Avoids late-filing penalties only

What Missing April 15 Really Costs ?
Penalties and interest begin the very day after the deadline — and they compound.
The IRS charges 5% of your unpaid taxes for each month (or partial month) your return is late. This starts the day after April 15 and is the larger of the two penalties.
Even if you file on time but don't pay what you owe, the IRS charges 0.5% per month on the unpaid amount — plus daily compounding interest on top of that.
No SSN? No Problem.
ITIN Filing for Non-Resident LLC Owners
Thousands of entrepreneurs outside the US have formed US LLCs — and still have a legal obligation to file US taxes. Here's how we help.
If you're a non-US resident operating a US LLC but don't have a Social Security Number (SSN), you need an ITIN (Individual Taxpayer Identification Number) to fulfill your federal tax obligations. The IRS requires the W-7 application and your 1040-NR to be submitted together as one package.
Bizfyle handles this entire process — from preparing your 1040-NR to compiling your W-7 application and ensuring it's submitted correctly the first time.

We confirm your US-source income and filing status to establish your exact federal reporting requirements. -
2Prepare Form W-7 (ITIN Application)

3File 1040-NR + W-7 Together
The IRS requires both forms submitted as a single package. We prepare both and ensure nothing is missing. -
4ITIN Issued by IRS
The IRS typically issues your ITIN within 7–11 weeks. We track the process and keep you updated.
