Catch-up bookkeeping

Behind on your books? We can get them current first.

If your books are months or years behind, BizFyle can review the backlog, clean up historical activity, reconcile accounts, and prepare a reliable starting point before monthly bookkeeping begins.

Turn a financial backlog into a clean starting point.

What affects pricing

Simple starting prices. Scoped around your books.

Bookkeeping is not only about monthly transaction count. The right package depends on how money moves through your business and how much reporting support you need.

Pricing depends on how your books actually operate. Transactions, systems, cleanup work, payroll, and inventory can all change the scope.
Transaction volume More monthly activity means more categorization, review, reconciliation, and exception handling.
Accounts and systems Banks, cards, payment processors, payroll, ecommerce, invoicing, and reporting tools affect scope.
Catch-up or cleanup Behind or messy historical books may need a separate cleanup quote before monthly work begins.
Payroll and inventory Payroll processing, inventory accounting, COGS, and more complex schedules may change the package.
Pricing questions

Know what you’re choosing before the month starts.

These plans are designed to give business owners a clear starting point while leaving room for real-world bookkeeping complexity.

Do these prices include catch-up bookkeeping?

Not by default. Catch-up or cleanup work may be quoted separately depending on how far behind the books are and how much correction is needed.

Why are the prices shown as “starting at”?

Because final pricing depends on your transaction volume, number of accounts, systems, entities, payroll, inventory, reporting needs, and the condition of your current books.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. Plans are billed monthly and can be cancelled anytime, subject to the agreed scope and any open catch-up, payroll, tax, or cleanup work.

Which plan should I start with?

Essential works well for simple books and smaller businesses. Growth is better for monthly management reporting, accrual books, AP/AR, and faster month-end close. Scale is for more complex books involving inventory, payroll, tax preparation, or senior account management.

Do I keep ownership of my QuickBooks or Xero file?

Yes. BizFyle can work inside your own QuickBooks or Xero account so your data, access, and books remain with you.

What happens if my transaction volume changes?

If your monthly activity increases or your books become more complex, we may recommend moving to a better-fit package or adjusting scope before the next billing period.

Is payroll included in every plan?

No. Payroll processing and administration are included in the Scale plan. If payroll support is needed in another package, it can be reviewed and quoted based on scope.

Is business tax return preparation included?

Business tax return preparation by tax experts is included in the Scale plan as listed. For other plans, tax preparation may be scoped separately depending on business type and filing needs.

Can BizFyle help if my books are messy but not fully behind?

Yes. We can review the current file and determine whether you need a small cleanup, full catch-up work, or can move directly into monthly bookkeeping.

Do the plans include accounts payable and receivable?

Essential includes basic AP and AR reports. Growth adds stronger AP/AR management support, including tracking, aging reports, invoice tracking, and vendor payment oversight.

Can I start with cash basis and move to accrual later?

Yes. Many businesses start with simpler cash-basis bookkeeping and move to accrual as reporting, lenders, investors, inventory, or management needs become more advanced.
